For those of you who frequent Gap and Old Navy credit cards, the latest promotional offer from both companies may interest you. Starting today, Old Navy will give interested customers an additional credit card for $10 per purchase made at Neiman Marcus or Marshalls. The deal is good for all Neiman Marcus or Marshalls stores and can even be found online. How does it work?
Old Navy's marketing campaign borrows a lot from its competitors. It starts by asking you to provide your zip code so it can generate a custom coupon based on where you live. Then it offers a special deal that includes a free Old Navy coupon and/or Old Navy credit card number. You are then sent to a secure page where you can enter in your old navy credit card number. This page is used to store your information and enable you to make your purchase.
To make your credit card payment online, simply log in to the Old Navy website, make your payment and complete all the tasks on the page. Your old navy credit card account number will be safely added to your computer's memory. Then you can use this same account number when you make any of your other Old Navy or Gap Purchases. As long as you remember your old navy credit card account number and password, you can use it again on any of your other purchases (on either site). Hence, you never need to type in your personal information every time you make a purchase!
Your debit card and e-bills will show up on your statement each month, showing your payment history and your bill-pay amount. You will also see the balance you have in your Old Navy or Gap credit cards. If you notice a large balance due or a late payment, simply call the customer service number on your billing statement to report your late payment. They will quickly correct your record and make it current, allowing your old navy credit card payment to go through the system smoothly.
There are also a couple of other ways to get your Old Navy credit card payment made on time. First, do not make any late payments on your Old Navy card or any of their affiliated accounts. The penalties for making late payments can be severe and last six billing cycles. Therefore, do not make any late payments, at all, even if you notice a large balance due.
Secondly, do not send money order or check by mail to your Old Navy credit card payment recipient. Money orders and checks are processed quickly and will be effective immediately. Also, do not send your payment to the recipient by fax or email. This also delays the process and causes significant penalty fees. Instead, make your money order or check payable via credit card using the regular method.
The final way to get an effective, on time, and affordable credit card payment is to set up an Old Navy debit card account. This is very similar to any other existing banking account. To set up your Old Navy debit card payment, log onto the company's website and follow the prompts.
Once you have logged onto the Old Navy site, you can now access your profile page. From the page, you will see a link that says “manage your account.” Click on this link. You will then need to click on the tab named” activating your account,” and click on the option “pay your bills.” Follow the prompts and sign up for a new credit card login ID and password in order to activate your Old Navy credit card payments.
