There are many people that are not familiar with The Weekender, but it's a really popular hip hop music festival held in Toronto every year. There are some great events to look forward to at The Weekender. One of the best things about this festival is that it's a Canadian event so there are plenty of Canadian artists and bands playing and doing their thing. The best thing about The Weekender is that it's a two day event so you get the best out of all the entertainment you could possibly enjoy.
I'm not going to talk about the music in this article because I want you to go out and buy The Weekender CD. But the other day I was listening to some of the music and I started thinking to myself, “That's The Weekend ft Kendrick Lamar”. This guy is an amazing rapper and singer. He's also been around for a long time and I'm sure he knows how to keep up with all the new music.
One of the great things about The Weekender is that K-Drick Lamar performs and does a couple of shows. He's always there doing great stuff. This year is a different kind of a show that has some different things for people to enjoy than they've ever seen before. One thing that you should know about K-Drick is that he will be opening for Outkast on the Saturday.
After that Outkast show it's time to party and have a good time on the second day. On the second day there are plenty of acts that you won't want to miss. First off is Big Daddy Kane, but he's also known as King T. Kane.
Next is a great artist called B.O.B. There are other acts that perform but these are the two major ones. You're probably going to be able to see one or two more and they do a great job as well. That's all I'm going to say about The Weekend.
The Fiesta will be happening on Saturday night as well. This is another great event. You're going to find tons of people there, and you can get a lot of food, drink and great entertainment. This is a great time for you to hang out with friends and family and just party.
And I'm not only talking about the Fiesta on Saturday night. There are other events going on that you should be aware of. One is the Jazz Festival on Friday night, there's also the Street Fair on Saturday night, there's a Chili Festival on Sunday morning and The Jazz and Blues Festival on Sunday afternoon. These are great places to be at and it's all free!
Overall the best part about the weekend is that the DJ plays music that's really cool and funky. So if you want a great time on a hot day, make sure that you go out and grab your tickets for The Weekend.
