The International Olympic Committee has recently announced that the Vancouver Olympics Team is eligible to have a Visa Logo. According to the IOC, each of the seven National Teams will receive a Visa Logo during the games. A Visa logo represents a team's official and recognizable identity. It can help promote recognition among audiences in different parts of the world.
In 2021, the Vancouver Olympics team was able to design their own Visa Logos. This enabled them to differentiate from other teams, as well as stand out individually. The IOC's graphic team worked closely with each of the seven National Teams to create the winning Visa Logos. The entire process took about eight months, from conceptualizing the team's visual identity to the actual creation of the logos. Once the concept was approved by the IOC, the company hired several graphic artists, as well as an in-house graphic printing company. These firms worked closely with the team to ensure that their graphics and images incorporated seamlessly into the team's visual identity.

Every detail was analyzed, and art directors, marketing executives, and other team members worked closely to create the final graphic image. The final product ultimately came in at over 200 professionals and was used in numerous locations, including print media, websites, corporate communications, advertising, and promotions.
In order to ensure that the visual identity incorporated the right IOCs, the final draft of the identity was presented to the IOA in January of this year. Once approved, the identity was formally submitted to . . . . . . the IOA in April. During the approval process, the identities went through several changes and modifications, in order to ensure that all aspects of the identity were harmonious. The latest identity incorporates the company's mission statement, as well as a short slogan that define the company's core values and objectives.
The visual identity represents a corporate vision that is needed to inspire loyalty among the team and maximizes productivity.
