Trippie Redd is an American rap musician, singer, songwriter, and rapper. His first mixtape, A Love Letter To You, and its second single, “Love Scars,” propelled him into stardom. His music has appeared on shows like The Oprah Winfrey Show and The Late Show with David Letterman and many more.
In a nutshell, Trippie Redd is an amazing story. He grew up in the inner city of Detroit, in the projects. The music is gritty, honest and extremely catchy. It's easy to listen to and remember.
When it comes to learning how to Rap, I can't say enough about Red Trippie Redd. His style of rap is a perfect mixture of what makes Hip Hop popular today. He does not over analyze the lyrics, nor does he try to outdo other artists. What he does, instead, is to give you the most honest and real story possible. I can see why so many listeners have fallen in love with his music.
Ripper James is also a great artist. His music is very similar to that of Red Trippie. He is also an artist that has been able to move past the stereotypes surrounding black men. He was once told to stay home by his mom because he was thought to be a gang member. Today, he is known for his song “Brick House” which is about growing up in a gang. His music is still as fresh as ever. He has managed to put out many albums that are still in rotation today.
With that said, Ripper James has been accused of plagiarizing other artists' work, and that is something that bothers me. It is not fair to put someone else's music on your own. It is also not true that all of his music is copied from other artists. He takes from many different artists but only puts his own twist on it. I don't think it is fair to accuse his music of plagiarism. He took ideas from different artists and then just ripped them.
Ultimately, Red Trippie Redd is a wonderful story, and he is a great artist. If you are serious about learning how to Rap, check out his music. I would recommend it highly. You will get a glimpse of how it could be done.
